How & When to use Sketchnoting

In the Classroom

Imagine a college lecture where you use sketchnoting to capture key points, draw diagrams, and create visual representations of complex concepts. You can improve your understanding of the information. Later, when reviewing your notes, the visual cues trigger your memory, making it easier to recall the information.

For Self Development or Self Care

During a seminar, reading a book, coaching or more, sketchnoting can help you map out their goals, aspirations and key insights. For self care you can sketchnote to help you relax and be creative while reflecting on your own healing and growth.

In Business Meetings

During a brainstorming session or a meeting discussion you can sketchnote to captures ideas, action points, and connections of what your colleagues are saying. This approach helps in clarifying complex ideas, fostering better communication among team members, and providing a visual summary for quick reference.

For Conferences and presentations

Conferences can be overwhelming with so much information. Sketchnoting not only helps gather the key ideas and concepts but also serves as a personal reflection tool, allowing individuals to internalize the speaker's message in real time in the moment and reflect on them later to help put those new lessons into action.
