đź’¬ What happens when you start learning a new language? You learn a few words and the basic way to use them, but whenever you try to say something new you have to pause and mentally sort through the words you know so you can figure out how to say the thing.
📣 Then as you practice, you add the words to your vocabulary. At first, you may have to think for a minute about what word to use for “chair,” but if you keep practicing, it won’t take any conscious thought—the word will just come to you.
🪑💺 What’s more, with practice you’ll also be able to access the words “armchair,” “recliner,” “rocker,” and “stool” (and more!) just as quickly and know immediately which one fits the context
