The Size of Your Writing Has Meaning

✍🏼 This is going to sound obvious, but I’m still going to say it: Change the size of your writing to reflect the importance of the information. The relative importance of information is called hierarchy, and here’s the simplest way to show it: Write big ideas BIGGER. Write smaller ideas normally. Write supporting details smaller.
🖍 Sometimes you won’t know exactly how big to write your information. That’s ok! If you aren’t sure, you can choose to write everything in similar sizes and use other drawing elements to help you show hierarchy instead of the size of the letters.
